Eliminator
As
the founding member of the Elimination Dept. Eliminator is responsible
for delivering the brash styled of telling the truth known as the "Elimination."
Although the Elimination is not an entirely new concept (plenty of insult
comics and son of a bitches have done it before), the style and delivery
of the Elimination in social settings is a generally unique concept.
Eliminator's "Elimination" activities date back to the early 90s when he and Manzoku were responsible for numerous prank phone calls, petty thefts, and general annoyances. All throughout the 90s and early 2000s Eliminator's "Eliminations" were becoming more and more known. In 2002 Eliminator joined a collective known as The Quattro. Other Quattro members included: Diplomat, Preacher, and Pharaoh. With the help of these three people Eliminator took Eliminations on the road in a big way. There were partiers, golfers, mini golfers, pedestrians, and mall walkers to taunt. And The Quattro taunted them all.
The Elimination Dept. first went online with a few discreet e-mail attacks in 2002 and 2003. This included the launch of the now-infamous Elimination Day holiday (January 15). The proper celebration of this holiday includes Eliminating those that deserve it via e-mail or LiveJournal.
But the official launch of the online portion of the Elimination Dept. came when Eliminator was tipped off about the wonders of LiveJournal by Zorandra at a summer barbecue. Eliminator was the first to procure the coveted Live Journal invite code (required by LiveJournal at the time). Preacher was the next to get a LiveJournal, and the rest was history.
Throughout 2004 the LiveJournal landscape expanded with the addition of many new LiveJournals, including (most importantly) Quattro members Diplomat and Pharaoh. These were the most anticipated and most successful additions of the year.
Eliminator's personal life consists of general online fuckery, listening to a wide range of music, reading, puppeteering stuffed animals, and spending time thinking of new ways to be absurd and ridiculous. Eliminator has a degree in Web Design and Multimedia Communications and is attempting to figure out new ways to pervert what he learned in school to apply to the Elimination Dept.'s latest online endeavors.
In 2005 Eliminator's "Take Action" campaign was started as a way to motivate himself and others to take things to the mystical "Next Level." This included launching EliminationDept.com to expand on the already large LiveJournal presence on the Elmination Dept. In his current role in the Elimination Dept. he will oversee the addition of new content to the website along with continuing to write for his LiveJournal.
