Diplomat (also known as Ryan T Scotts)
Diplomat is no stranger to organizing people and executing plans. He has been the go-to guy during a number of "Loser's Club" campaigns. Named so for the ability to make willing participants out of people, who otherwise serve no purpose, for group activities. Diplomat usually exhibits an attitude of contempt for his fellow man. This is juxtaposed with his ability to befriend anybody. In all truth, Diplomat is actually a very sociable person. Judging by manifestos he has written in the past, this "Open Arms" willingness to befriend people usually turns out to be the source of his aggravation towards people. His time with the Elimination Dept. has been highlighted by his sheer brutal behavior in handing out "The Truth" to those who cross him or any of the Elimination Dept. members. Whenever challenged Diplomat has always used a full-on assault as his strategy. His overwhelming style of combat has been evident in many e-mail and LiveJournal campaigns. These campaigns usually revolve around brutal tellings of "the truth" that include telling people things that social norms usually shelter them from hearing. Diplomat's tactics in these campaigns usually equate to bringing a nuclear warhead to a fist fight. Nonetheless, his overbearing strategy almost always affords him a victory. Usually because his level of commitment to "brutal truth telling" far outweighs that of his opponent's. His e-mail campaigns have become the stuff of legends. He has also been the #1 champion of Elimination Day activities in past years, including what seems to be a never-ending Elimination Day assault via his LiveJournal throughout 2005. The latest round revolves around a post that generated the most commentary (54 comments) out of any post in the Elimination Dept. and Circle Of Madness' two-year LiveJournal history. Diplomat always seems to be the center of controversy, sometimes voluntarily, sometimes not. He will be the first to tell you, "I always get blamed for shit" in a lamenting tone. As part of the Elimination Dept. website Diplomat will contribute his brash style of writing to our reviews section. His manifestos will also be posted in our "Quattro" section. He will also continue his controversial LiveJournal writings which usually open up opportunities for fellow Elimination Dept. members to further express their controversial opinions and interact with others (albeit, in a fashion that wouldn't be considered 'constructive' by social norms).
