Dark Shadow
Dark
Shadow has been a long-time supporter (and unfortunate victim at times)
of Elimination Dept. activities. Originally serving as a sparring partner
for early Elimination attempts by Eliminator,
she also doled out almost-lethal smacks, kicks, and punches. She is currently
an integral part of the Elimination Dept. Web Design Team.
Much like most of the Elimination Dept. staff, Dark Shadow has "limited social capacity" or, to put it more simply: She can only tolerate so much shit from stupid people. She has a very carefully selected group of friends and associates; everybody else has the potential to be nominated for a swift kick in the face. When she does socialize, she chooses to do it at select nightlife hotspots and concerts. Never one to turn down excitement she is always up for a night of laughter and drinking, so long as no Tools are invited.
By day she's a full-time graphic designer who is kind enough to donate her graphic design skills to this very website in her free time. She designed the "punch in the face" logo and text logo that is featured on every page on the site. She has also contributed ideas for changes to the page layout that have been somewhat incorporated on the site's current design.
She is also very internet-savvy. She has had some sort of web presence in one way or another for the past 5 years. She has been on LiveJournal longer than any other Elimination Dept. member. Before LiveJournal there were several free server-hosted homepages.
Much like Jerome Benton, Dark Shadow will
also contribute "moral conscience" commentary in the form of
a disapproving nod and a "Why the fuck are you wasting your time
with this shit?" look on her face. She will also contribute advice
and possibly some reviews, along with continued graphic design and page
layout support.
