Jerome Benton
Jerome
is probably best known for his long-running stint with famous 80s funk
band The Time. As the band's onstage valet he has served many years alongside
Morris Day as a dancer, percussionist, and mirror-holder.
In the current musical climate tour demands for The Time aren't what they were in the 80s. This gives Jerome a lot of free time. In September of 2004 Jerome chose to spend that free time contribution various entries to the Elimination Dept. LiveJournal.
His experience as a part of The Time has made Jerome a full-time ladies man. His life experiences have given him plenty of material for the interesting entries he has posted on LiveJournal.
Benton is also known for his "moral conscience"
commentary that he often lends to LiveJournal entries. Although his name
has become synonymous with the Elimination Dept. LiveJournal, Benton has
yet to create his own LiveJournal and continues to occasionally submit
entries to Eliminator to post for him.
